The end-of-semester examination (in certain of my courses) may be replaced by a mini-research project carried out during the semester, which students present in the form of an independent presentation and for which they answer any professional questions that arise.
The research topic must be approved in advance. Approval takes place within the university’s Moodle system, for the given course, according to the deadline that I set.
For students who do not undertake the research option, the examination is based on a written on-line test; participation in this test must be indicated during the study period in NEPTUN or on the E-learning platform. Preparation may be based on the course material available in Moodle and the literature specified for the given course.
– The end-of-year test examination is generally graded by me as follows:
0 – 49% – fail (1)
50 – 59% – pass (2)
60 – 69% – satisfactory (3)
70 – 84% – good (4)
85 – 100% – excellent (5)
Deadline for choosing a research topic: typically the last working day of the month following the start of the semester, to be uploaded by 23:55:00 (the exact date can be found in Moodle).
Credit requires uploading the research plan to Moodle, as well as its approval (by me).
