The HKR (Student Requirement System) now allows the entry of an offered grade into NEPTUN.
OFFERED-GRADE ENTRY PERIOD: from the last week of the study period to the first week of the exam period. The offered grade: on the basis of the student’s performance during the semester, the instructor may offer a grade (offered grade); if the student rejects it, they take a written or oral exam during the exam period;
The relevant HKR provision:
Inserted by Senate Resolution No. CXCI/2017 (VI. 26.). In effect from 27 June 2017.
(1) On the basis of the student’s performance during the semester, the instructor may offer a grade (offered grade). The offered grade may be entered into the Electronic Academic System from the first day of the last week of the study period until, at the latest, the last day of the first week of the exam period.
(2) The student may indicate, in the Electronic Academic System, their acceptance or
rejection of the offered exam grade at the latest by the end of the second week of the exam period. Acceptance of an offered grade is only possible if there is no valid exam registration.
(3) An offered exam grade not accepted by the deadline is treated as rejected.
(4) Once the offered grade has been recorded in the academic system, the student may not register for an exam in that course until they have rejected it. If the offered grade is accepted, exam registration for that course remains prohibited, and an accepted offered grade cannot be improved through an exam.
(5) If the student obtains a valid exam grade before accepting the offered grade, the offered exam grade is treated as rejected.
(6) The student is notified of the entry of the offered grade via a NEPTUN message.
